just two seconds remaining before halftime, Clifford connected with Brenton Strange for a 67-yard touchdown throw, giving the Nittany Lions a 21-10 lead.

After Purdue went three-and-out, two minutes later Clifford sent a pass sailing over Mitchell Tinsley's head and right into Chris Jefferson's waiting arms for Purdue.
